Lattimore Recognized for Masters Track & Field Accomplishments
Jason Lattimore was recently recognized in the New Jersey Daily Record and on MastersTrack.com in connection with his accomplishments as a masters track and field athlete (links to articles below). Masters track provides an opportunity for athletes over 30 to compete in 5-year age groups in their chosen track and field events. Over the last two years, Lattimore has won ten USATF-NJ Masters Championships gold medals in various events and a national USATF Masters championship in the pentathlon, a five-event competition consisting of the the long jump, javelin, 200 meter dash, discus, and 1500 meter run (all contested in a single day). Lattimore currently competes in the 40-44 age group.
